What happens next
Care Plans aren’t a one-click checkout. We take onboarding seriously because we want to start the partnership the right way — with full understanding of your site, your goals, and your specific situation. Here’s the path from this page to your first month of care:
- You submit the form below. Site details, contact info, and a brief description of your site and any known concerns. Takes about 5 minutes.
- Tim personally reviews your submission. Within one business day, you’ll receive an email confirming we can take you on, with a service agreement attached. If we’re not the right fit for any reason — capacity, technical mismatch, or anything else — we’ll tell you honestly rather than waste your time.
- You sign the service agreement. A simple, plain-English agreement covering scope, billing, cancellation terms, and our mutual responsibilities. No legal-speak landmines. Once signed, we set up billing on a date that works for you.
- Your onboarding audit kicks off the partnership. Before regular monthly care begins, every new Care Plan client receives a comprehensive onboarding audit (more on this below). This sets the baseline for everything we do going forward.
From form submission to active Care Plan: typically 3–5 business days, depending on how quickly the agreement is signed and access credentials are exchanged.

Every new Care Plan client receives a comprehensive audit of their site as the first deliverable of the partnership. This isn’t a fast scan — it’s a thorough manual review that gives both of us a clear baseline before regular monthly work begins.
The onboarding audit serves three purposes:
It catches problems before they become emergencies. Most WordPress sites have issues their owners don’t know about — outdated plugins, security vulnerabilities, performance regressions, broken backup setups, abandoned tools quietly draining performance. The audit surfaces them on day one, not month seven.
It builds shared context. After the audit, we both have the same picture of your site — what’s healthy, what’s risky, and what needs attention. Future conversations get faster and more productive because we’re starting from the same baseline.
It sets remediation priorities. If significant work is needed before regular care can proceed effectively, we’ll identify it clearly and propose a separate one-time remediation project. Many sites need none. Some need substantial work. Either way, you’ll know before we proceed.
The audit is included at no additional cost in every Care Plan tier. The deliverable is a written report (typically 8–15 pages) plus a 30-minute walkthrough call to review findings together.

Care Plans bill monthly and can be canceled at any time. We don’t lock clients into annual contracts because we want to earn renewal every month, not enforce it through legalese.

The first month includes the onboarding audit, regardless of how long you stay. Your investment in month one is real work — we’d rather over-deliver upfront than back-load value to lock you in.
If we discover during the onboarding audit that your site needs significant remediation before regular Care Plan work can proceed effectively, we’ll tell you. In that case, we’ll scope the remediation as a separate one-time project, and you can decide whether to proceed. If you’d rather not, we’ll refund the first month’s Care Plan fee and part ways professionally — no hard feelings.
Cancellation is straightforward. Email us. We confirm. Billing stops at the end of the current month. No fees, no exit interviews, no win-back attempts.
