I visit a lot of websites and get annoyed when I encounter broken functionality. As a web developer I am pretty forgiving as I understand how things can happen. Imagine your prospective customers though who cannot send you a message because your contact form isn’t working. Or, more frequently, messages from your contact form never reach you. How many emails have you lost? Another example is your Google map is not displaying because you haven’t updated your API key. I know of one website where the map is not displaying at all on the desktop version of the site and displays an error message when viewing the site on a mobile device.
Other potential issues are non-displaying images, broken links and pages not found.
